A magazine published a story last year, which hinted that the actress and Richard Gere still have a soft corner for each other. An anonymous source told this outlet that they would not take any step though as they are both married.

 

The same insider insisted that it does not mean there is no connection between the two Hollywood actors. Even their respective spouses cannot take away that connection. The dubious source further added that Roberts’ marriage to Danny Moder was not stable and she often reached out to Gere for support. 

 

However, Gossip Cop claims that the story is made up. They even seem to have contacted a source who is close to both these former co-stars. The representative assured the website that the story was incorrect. 

 

Their on-screen chemistry in Pretty Woman seems so realistic even today that many have been speculating about an alleged romance. They were acting in the film though and were not in love. 

 

Meanwhile, although there have been reports of turbulences in Roberts and Moder’s marriage, even such stories seem to be plain speculations. After all, the couple celebrated their 17th marriage anniversary.

 

Julia Roberts also celebrated their wedding anniversary by posting a picture of Danny Moder on her Instagram page. Incidentally, the two of them got married in 2002 after they met while shooting for a movie titled The Mexican.  

 

Moder was a cinematographer in the same movie, People magazine reports. The actress even wished a Happy Father’s Day to her husband and all other fathers in the world by uploading his photo on social media. 

 

However, rumors of the possibility of their marriage being on the verge of a breakdown just do not seem to stop. For instance, just last year, a publication claimed that the couple was about to file for a $200 million divorce petition. 

 

The reason given was that Moder did not celebrate his wife’s birthday properly. It was even reported that the actress allegedly threw her husband out of their home and began the divorce proceeding. Despite such seemingly false claims, Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder appear to be doing well in their marriage. 

 

Also, it is the sizzling on-screen chemistry between Julia Roberts and Richard Gere that have sparked speculations of their real-life romance. However, such reports are incorrect and the pair just shares a close friendship.
