Meghan Markle is, allegedly, running for president, and she could compete with some of the biggest names in the industry today.

According to Woman’s Day, Markle decided to quit the royal family so she could pursue her political ambitions. And this is also the reason why she decided to return to the United States.

After living in the United Kingdom for about two years, the Duchess of Sussex announced her bombshell exit in January. An unnamed source claimed that Markle cannot push through with her campaign if she’s residing in the United Kingdom.

The insider claimed that even though Markle would run in the 2024 elections, she should already be starting her campaign as early as now.

Several other tabloids have claimed that other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, and Eminem are running for president. And if this is the case, tall three would allegedly run against Markle.

Three years ago, Hollywood Life claimed that Eminem will be running for president after he performed an anti-Donald Trump song. But three years have already passed and Eminem still hasn’t filed for candidacy.

A year later, Life & Style claimed that Oprah Winfrey will be running for president. And the talk show host will allegedly follow in the footsteps of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

An unnamed source told the tabloid that when Winfrey fights, she fights to win. As such, the talk show host is allegedly dead set on making sure that Trump won’t get re-elected in the upcoming elections.

However, Winfrey already said that she has no plans to get into politics. During her interview on the Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, Winfrey also refused to answer the claims that she could win against Trump.

“I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that. But I’ll never have to know the answer to that because I will never run for public office,” she said.

Months later, Heat also claimed that Kim Kardashian will be running for president in the 2020 and 2024 elections. An unnamed source said that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been venturing on more advocacy work to gain more supporters in the upcoming elections.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloids with a grain of salt. Gossip Cop has debunked all the claims by saying that Markle, Eminem, Winfrey, and Kardashian aren’t running for president this year, in 2024, and any other year for that matter.
