‘Tower Of God’ Episode 13 Finale Recap: When Will Crunchyroll Release Season 2?
The penultimate episode of “Tower of God” Season 1 showcases Rachel’s betrayal. The scene where she pushes Bam off a platform comes as a shocker for fans. The finale of the season offers answers to all the questions.

“Tower of God” Episode 13 opens with a shot of Bam sinking while Rachel says to herself that it is finally over. However, a flashback scene takes the viewers sheds light on Rachel’s past. When she enters the tower, Headon, who is the caretaker and guardian of the tower, tells her that she wasn’t meant to be climbing the tower. It was Bam’s destiny to climb it.
Rachel pleads and asks Headon to let her in. She tells him that she always wanted to climb the tower and she deserves a chance.
Headon tells her that they will test her. When she learns about the White Steel Eel test, she protests that it is quite hard to pass without a weapon. When Bam is able to pass the same test, Rachel vows that she will do anything to beat him and move ahead.
Rachel’s only wish is to reach the top of the tower and see the stars. She tells Headon that she will do whatever he says.
Headon agrees and asks her to be ready for a special test. He wants Bam dead and if Rachel can bring his life to a close, she will be allowed to climb the tower.
He wants Rachel to end Bam’s story. Headon reminds Rachel that she should not care about it as she has abandoned Bam.
Throughout the tests, Rachel tries hard to not put Bam in harm’s way. She wants someone else to kill Bam for her. Deep down, she knows she can’t get rid of him.
Towards the end of “Tower of God” Season 1 finale episode, Bam is alive and he is asked to climb the tower. During the episode, Lero Ro decides to quit as a test administrator. He is upset because the tests were rigged. Now, Lero Ro wants to be a participant and climb. He even asks Quant to join him in his quest to find the truth.
After the conclusion of the first season, Crunchyroll is yet to announce the release date of “Tower of God” Season 2 episodes. With the Summer 2020 lineup out, it remains to be seen when Crunchyroll unveils the second season of the anime series.
