Meghan Markle, Harry Creating Their Own ‘Monster’ By Refusing To Share What They’re Up To
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are, allegedly, creating their own monster by not sharing what they are up to with the public.
While speaking on the Royally Us podcast, former royal protection officer Simon Morgan weighed in on the privacy that the Sussexes have been craving. He said that as public figures, it is unlike for Prince Harry and Markle to ever have the privacy that they have been asking for.
Morgan said that the more Prince Harry and Markle try to shield themselves away from the public, the more interest there will be around them. He said that privacy depends on how the royal couple engages with the public and the media and how much access they will allow the public to have.
The former royal protection officer also said that people of wealth, visibility, and status have to lessen all risks to let them live their normal lives as they wish.
For instance, the common recourse is for people of wealth, status, and visibility to be asked to stay home to protect themselves. They are also advised not to talk to anyone for their own protection.
However, Morgan said that no one wants to live this way. And at the end of the day, there will always be an interest in Prince Harry and Markle. And even though this interest may increase or lessen at certain points in time, it will always be there.
Royal fans would always want to know what they are up to, and this creates its own monster within itself.
Meanwhile, one of the reasons why Prince Harry and Markle decided to quit The Firm was because of their privacy and security. The Duke of Sussex said that he doesn’t want whatever happened to Princess Diana to happen to Markle and Archie.
But following their Megxit, Prince Harry and Markle continue to be hounded by the paparazzi. According to New Idea, the royal couple has taken security measures to the next level since they moved to the United States.
The insider claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s house in Beverly Hills are equipped with panic buttons that they can push in cases of emergency.
“Their security system is so elite that the cops and armed guards would be there in seconds,” the source said.
Prince Harry and Markle have also employed personal guards and they are also utilizing patrols from the Beverly Hills sheriff’s department.
