There have been rumors going around that singer Cher is on the brink of death due to a rare disease. How true is this news?

Well, according to Gossip Cop, it is absolutely not true. It seems that a tabloid has recently printed that Cher is sick with an incurable disease and is in fact, on her deathbed. But all these are mere speculations. They all came from a tweet where te iconic singer said that she was too sick that she cannot even attend the ongoing protests for the Black Lives Matter movement. 

Anyone who knows Cher would know that she would never miss the protests unless she was seriously ill, leading some to assume that she was in fact dying. 

But that seems far from the truth when the singer even posts photos of herself during the pandemic. Tabloids are citing that it may have to do with the Epstein-Barr virus for which she was diagnosed many years ago, but she has been managing that perfectly well. 

Cher is one of the most successful and iconic artists today. She is not only a well known pop star, with hits like Bang Bang and more, but she is also an award-winning actress, having won the Oscar for her performance in Moonstruck. In fact, she has won three of the four major entertainment awards. 

Her most recent film was in 2018, in the movie Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again where she played the role of Ruby Sheridan, the mother of Meryl Streep in the movie. 

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has brought to light an old interview of Cher, where she appeared to make a dig against fellow pop star Madonna. The singer was apparently asked by the late Sir Terry Wogan about Madonna and she goes on to say things like Madonna is not really beautiful and she is also not talented. But she did say that she respected her because she is willing to do whatever she likes to do. 

This is not the only time that she seemed to throw some digs at the Like a Virgin singer. IN 2018 on The Ellen Degeneres Show, she was asked about the artists that she would love to collaborate with. She answered Adele, Pink, and not Madonna. 

It seems that even after many years, the feud between the two had not died down, especially as Cher thinks that Madonna is rude and a spoiled brat.
