Baseball center fielder Jim Edmonds revealed that his marriage with reality TV show star Meghan King was abusive and loveless.

On June 23, the broadcaster who was an MLB player before took a swing on social media at his estranged wife that included a love note to his current girlfriend named Kortnie O’Connor. He admitted that it is his current girlfriend who deserves the credit otherwise he would have not been there, where he is right now.

“She showed up in my life just at the right time." Edmonds wrote on his social media as a caption along with four photos of O’Connor.

He further said that it is amazing that her girlfriend took a chance on a plus one to Mexico over a weekend, which helped him to pull him out of a hole and change his entire life forever. He recalled in the post being in a dark place and thought it would never happen to him.

The 49-year-old said he was "going through hell" while ending a relationship that was filled with abuse and no love. The accusations and lies that followed post-breakup put him into a deeper funk, he admitted. He called his current girlfriend "beautiful women" who entered his life by chance and lit his world and now, he feels he is back to life.

Edmonds also thanked his children, amazing friends, and his girlfriend for making him not only a better person but also a better father. King got married to Edmonds in 2014 after he divorced his first wife Allison Jayne Raski. The split between King and Edmonds took place after allegations in Oct. 2019 of his affair surfaced.

The couple shares three kids that involve a daughter named Aspen, 3, and Hart and Haye are twin boys who turned 2-years-old. The former Real Housewives of Orange County fame wrote a blog in March and shared details regarding her contentious and public divorce.

"Four months after my marital separation, I’ve made it to a place of silent acceptance and normalcy," she wrote with a picture in which she was meditating. Also, she told in the blog about surviving with a smile on her face.

In May, the star disclosed moving on with a businessman Christian Schauf and posted a picture of the new love of her life. She said that she is just in a happy state right now and looking forward to writing the next chapter of her life.
