'90 Day Fiance' Fame Kalani Faagata Accuses Asuelu Pulaa For Manipulating Her
90 Day Fiancé Fame Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata had a short span romance of two-week at home country of Pulaa in Samoa that led to a wedding, pregnancy, and another pregnancy along with an international move.
The couple is now living in Utah with their two kids while the duo is navigating their married life and trying to be good parents with a mix of little anxiety and stress.
TLC's second episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After in season 5, Faagata and Pulaa headed out for a date night after Faagata's request but the romance disappeared quickly from the evening when Pulaa said he wanted to go back to Samoa. With this announcement of Pulaa, Faagata felt "manipulated".
After 31-year-old wife asked her 24-year-old husband for a much-needed break from two little kids, Kennedy and Oliver. As a result, Pulaa agreed to Faagata and took her to a rare date. He made her believe with a promise that the night is going to be romantic.
However, Pulaa’s choice of date night seemed to be unconventional as it involved axe-throwing. Faagata told producers of 90 Day Fiancé that she enjoyed those moments, regardless. She further explained that her idea of a romantic date was a nice little dinner and a movie but definitely not axe throwing.
When Faagata tried checking if Faagata is having a good time, she gave him assurance that his efforts are appreciated because he is listening to her needs. “You’re listening to what I’m saying, that I want to spend more time with you, so thank you,” she said.
Pulaa changed the subject quickly which changed the mood and revealed that he wants to visit his home country as his parents had met only their older son and he wanted them to meet the little one now. Moreover, he told his wife about feeling homesick and missing his family.
On the other hand, Faagata looked concerned about the trip's cost that might spend their entire saving as the tickets alone might go up to $3,000. Additionally, he expected the family to stay at a resort or hotel, which would eventually add to the cost.
Pulaa is currently working only part-time and that doesn't seem to be a smart move to his wife as she told the producers of TLC. Another sticking point was, her in-laws expect lots of gifts and cash according to their family tradition or culture.
