Although Jennifer Aniston has been linked to many men over the years, she has been married only twice. There had been a never-ending curiosity among her fans concerning who gave Jen the costlier engagement ring: Brad Pitt or Justin Theroux.

 

The Friends star walked down the aisle with Pitt in 2000 and was married to him for five years. She tied the knot with Theroux in 2015, this being her second marriage. While even this marriage did not last long, Jen is reportedly enjoying her single status at present. 

 

It was in 1999 when the Fight Club actor and The Morning Show Actress made a public announcement of their engagement. The announcement was made just a few months after they made their relationship formal with their maiden public outing. 

 

Eventually, the pair exchanged their vows in a lavish wedding ceremony in Malibu. More than 200 guests were present on the occasion to wish the newlywed. 

 

As far as Jen’s engagement ring was concerned, reports had it that Pitt co-designed it. The actor reportedly spent an estimated price of $500,000 for the ring. It was also the first engagement ring of Jennifer Aniston. 

 

Reports had it that the Mr. & Mrs. Smith star wished the diamonds on the ring to look like a heart and loved the symbolism of eternity. It was a gorgeous ring featuring a round stone in the center while smaller diamonds encircled it. Pitt has assisted by Designer Silvia Damiani to choose the ring’s design. 

 

Although Brad Pitt’s engagement ring to Jen was tough to beat, Justin Theroux popped up the question to Aniston with an equally stunning engagement ring. Both her former husbands’ rings were valued at $500,000 but Theroux’s engagement ring appeared to be bigger, according to Fashionista.

 

Aniston first flaunted the huge rock while shooting for We’re the Millers in Mexico. The Wanderlust actor dropped on the set to visit Jen and the cameras caught the actress wearing the rock. 

 

Comparisons between Pitt’s engagement ring and the ring given by Theroux started immediately. Several fans thought that while Pitt’s ring was more unique and beautiful, Theroux’s was larger. 

 

As Aniston’s second engagement ring also cost about half a million dollars, her fans often wondered what did she do with it after her divorce. However, it seems the actress was not legally needed to return the ring.
