Brad Pitt And Other Hollywood A-Listers Pay This Touching Tribute To Essential Workers: Report
Brad Pitt and several other Hollywood A-listers like Jamie Foxx, Oprah Winfrey, and Sandra Bullock recently participated in the CBS Special of Harry Connick. Jr.
Many Celebs in Hollywood including the Fight Club star came together and paid a touching tribute to all those essential services workers who are working tirelessly even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
They participated in a CBS special titled United We Sing:: A GRAMMY Tribute to the Unsung Heroes on this Sunday. Apart from Pitt, Foxx, and Bullock, some other celebrities who also took part in this initiative were Oprah Winfrey, Drew Brees, Renne Zellweger, and Tim McGraw, and more, ET Canada reports.
This special show was shot before the movement called Black Lives Matter, which has seen massive participation since the heinous killing of George Floyd, an African-American while he was in police custody on May 25, 2020.
Connick started the special show by issuing a disclaimer. He mentioned that the show was shot some weeks ago. Since then, there has been a change in the world. The host also mentioned that the focus has widened now from the global health pandemic to a sad dialogue about racial discrimination in the country,
Georgia, his 24-year-old daughter traveled from New York to New Orleans in an RV to thank the country’s essential workers along with the support of some celeb pals. Brad Pitt was seen in a clip thanking a sanitation staff called Darnell Rudolph. The latter looked surprised after he saw the Oscar Award-winner on Connick’s iPad.
Pitt said he appreciates their hard work and also queried him about his family’s well-being. There is a second clip where Bullock is seen speaking virtually to a worker who works for the public transportation department. The worker’s name is Joy Palmer and her husband succumbed to coronavirus and passed away.
On the other hand, Winfrey interacted with the workers of the Boys and Girls Club as a part of the same unique initiative. Actor Jamie Foxx was full of praises for the environmental service workers while Drew Brees thanked the efforts of firefighters.
In other news, rumors have it that Angelia Jolie and Pitt’s daughter Shiloh is gender fluid. Pitt is reportedly worried about the way Angie is influencing the views of her daughter.
Brad Pitt is allegedly concerned that his daughter could get influenced by her mom into considering herself to be a boy because of Angie’s desires. Speculations are rife that Angelina Jolie is pushing Shiloh to identify herself as a male because she does not have any problem with her daughter’s so-called gender fluidity, Geo News reports.
