Justin Bieber Denies Sexual Assault Accusations And Says He Will Take Legal Action
The woman who is known by the handle Danielle wrote a lengthy post on social media accusing Justin Bieber of sexual abuse. The story did rounds on Twitter for several hours and even trended on the popular social media platform, with some fans criticizer the singer while others, coming to his defense.
Just one day after the post accusing him was shared on social media, Bieber responded to the accusations with a post of his own. According to Danielle's post, she had an encounter with Bieber in Austin, Texas back in Mar. 2014, where the popular singer gave an unrehearsed performance.
Danielle and her friends were invited to the Four Seasons by the singer and a man who accompanied him. When she arrived, Bieber took her to a separate room away from her friends. Danielle wrote in her post that Bieber sexually assaulted her, and was dating Selena Gomez at the time.
Social media users found several tweets that confirmed Bieber was at a Four Seasons location in Austin on Mar. 10, 2014. Music tracking site Pop Crave posted the Twitter thread on its account. Later, another woman came forward claiming the singer assaulted her as well.
Bieber deemed the story completely false and shared a slew of tweets to challenge Danielle’s story. After acknowledging the seriousness of sexual assault, the Baby singer said he and his team were taking Danielle's accusations seriously. Bieber said the allegations are undoubtedly wrong.
He confirmed that he was in the city and his surprise performance, adding that Selena Gomez was there too and he even dedicated a song to her. Bieber says he reached the city late that night from Houston and headed straight to an Airbnb with his team, Gomez, and some other friends after the performance.
Bieber wrote that he stayed at the Westin on Mar. 10, which was recently confirmed by SB Projects’ Allison Kaye. To support his claim, the Sorry singer shared copies of Airbnb and hotel receipts for his stay at the Westin. On Mar. 10, Beiber said he and his friends Nick and John stayed at the Westin while Selena left for work.
Emphasizing that he was not at the Four Seasons at the time, Bieber said they booked it for a couple of days to stay for the Def Jam show, but he decided to leave on Mar. 11th. Referring to the tweets that show he was at the Four Seasons, the singer clarified that it was the restaurant, not the hotel.
Bieber pointed out that they are two different places and mentioned something about dropping his stage name Mike Lowery. The singer said he will collaborate with Twitter to take action against the accusers. Since Danielle deleted her account after sharing the posts, no one knows who she is.
