Meghan Markle allegedly had high hopes before returning to the United States.

According to Heat, the Duchess of Sussex thought that producers and directors would go after her because they want to cast her in their upcoming projects. But since her return to Los Angeles in March, Markle has only received B-list offers.

An unnamed source the tabloid that Markle is already starting to lose hope considering that before she relocated to the United States, her goal was to win an Oscar.

The source said that Prince Harry's wife expected to have choices and offers shortly after her return to the United States. However, it's been an uphill battle for Markle. 

There are claims that some casting directors are seemingly afraid of the negativity surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This is why they have offered her anything. 

As of late, there are also claims that Markle received an offer to host her own daytime talk show. However, it seems that she thinks the idea is cringeworthy. 

Markle also received guest appearances offers on some minor dramas, sitcoms, and reality TV shows. But the Suits alum is still waiting for her next big break in Hollywood. 

The insider also said that Markle has started to feel undervalued. After all, it’s been three months and she hasn’t received anything that’s worth accepting.

According to the insider, Markle's dream is to be nominated for an Oscar. She also, allegedly, thinks that she can balance her career with her role as a mom just like Angelina Jolie. But she's been taken aback by all of the minor offers she has received.

Prince Harry's wife allegedly hopes that the lack of offers is only because the industry is still on lockdown. And when everything is back to normal, she would finally get her big break. 

However, Markle doesn't want to return to acting full-time. She simply wants to prove to herself and to everyone that she's a credible performer. 

Since she's living at Tyler Perry's home, Markle allegedly asked the producer to help him arrange a meeting with director David Fincher and other big names in Hollywood. 

Markle and Prince Harry allegedly think that they need to do a lot of networking if they want to make it big. 

 As of late, Markle has not yet confirmed whether or not she has already received offers for roles on television and the big screen. The Duchess of Sussex has not also said anything about wanting to return to Hollywood full-time or part-time. As such, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.
