Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been pitted against each other for years. And one dubious claim even involved their father-in-law, Prince Charles.

According to Star, Middleton is seething after learning that Prince Charles has been playing favorites. The heir to the throne allegedly prefers Markle over Middleton.

An unnamed source told the tabloid that Prince Charles feels more like himself when he’s with Markle because she’s charming and relatable.

Prince Charles and Middleton’s relationship, on the other hand, is allegedly awkward. As such, the dad of two has more fun whenever he’s with Markle than when he’s with Middleton.

The source also claimed that Middleton couldn’t stop whining after learning about Prince Charles and Markle’s close relationship. Because for the longest time, she was the apple of Prince Charles’ eyes.

Prince William and Middleton have already been married for a couple of years before Markle joined the royal family in 2018.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for Middleton to be jealous of Prince Charles and Markle’s closeness because she also has a special relationship with her father-in-law.

There isn’t also any proof that Prince Charles prefers Markle over Middleton. After all, Prince William and Prince Harry’s dad has never said anything as controversial as this.

In fact, Prince Charles tries his best to give his in-laws the same treatment. He is also helping both of his sons financially even though they are both capable to stand on their own two feet.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the only time that Star published a fake story about the royal family. There was also a time when the tabloid claimed that Middleton and Markle were plotting to kick Camilla Parker Bowles out of the British clan.

By the look of it, the tabloid has a fascination with the in-laws, who became members of the royal family after they wed their respective partners.

It is untrue that Middleton and Markle tried to kick Camilla out of the royal family. The Duchess of Cornwall is still very much a part of The Firm. And she’s also happily married to Prince Charles.

Middleton and Markle don’t also have the right to kick out any member of the royal family. And Camilla will only be kicked out from The Firm if she and Prince Charles divorced.
