Ivanka Trump, former senior advisor to President Donald Trump, is now channeling her energy into an ambitious luxury resort project in Albania. Alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, Ivanka is working on transforming a 1,400-acre Mediterranean island into an opulent Aman-branded hotel. This significant endeavor marks her return to the real estate sector, showcasing her flair for high-end developments.

"Right now, I'm working with my husband," Ivanka shared during an interview on Lex Friedman’s podcast. "We have this 1,400-acre island in the Mediterranean, and we're bringing in the best architects and the best brands." The resort is set to be operated by Vlad Doronin’s ultra-luxe Aman brand, renowned for its exceptional hospitality and unique destinations worldwide.

The development promises not only top-tier accommodation but also a culinary experience par excellence. The renowned New York-based restaurant Carbone will be handling the food and beverage services at the resort. "Aman's going to operate the hotel for us, and there are going to be villas, and we have Carbone, who's going to be doing the food and beverage," Ivanka added. "It's amazing to bring together all of this talent. And for me to be able to play around and flex the real estate muscles again and have some fun with it."

Ivanka’s involvement in this project signifies a notable shift from her political engagements during her father’s presidency. She has since taken a step back from the political limelight, focusing instead on her entrepreneurial pursuits. The resort, which is still in the conceptual phase, is designed to harmonize with the island's natural topography. Ivanka emphasized the importance of integrating the modern design with the existing vegetation and terrain.

"The conceptual drawings are very modern, but making it feel right in terms of the context of the vegetation and the terrain that exists is crucial," she explained. "Obviously, you want glass to look out and see that gorgeous blue ocean, but how do you do that in a way that doesn't feel generic and isn't a squandered opportunity to create something new?"

The project also reflects Ivanka’s meticulous attention to detail and her desire to create a distinctive and luxurious experience for future guests. By leveraging high-quality materials and cutting-edge architectural design, she aims to craft a resort that offers both aesthetic appeal and environmental harmony.

"This includes a thaw in the sometimes chilly and tense relationship between Melania and Ivanka," a source told Page Six. "The entire family, including all Trump's children and their significant others, are all circling the wagons."
