Actively supportive of the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement, Brad Pitt also reportedly wants the world should know of his views on racial discrimination. He is supposedly proud to support the movement and it is the main reason why he has no qualms to protest publicly. 

The Hollywood A-lister participated in the protests as part of the Black Lives Matter movement on June 7, 2020. The 56-year-old actor tried to be in disguise while participating in the protest. He kept his motorbike helmet on and yet the fans took little time in recognizing their favorite actor. 

The star wore a hoodie with George Floyd’s name emblazoned on it. The Troy star is a die-hard supporter of the movement apart from being a proud dad of a Black daughter. So, it is pretty obvious that the actor is an active protestor in rallies like this, an anonymous tipster told this to Hollywood Life. 

The same insider mentioned that being the person the actor is, as well as having a Black daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, the movement happens to be extremely close to his heart. The source added the actor has always supported and fought for what he thinks is right. It is precisely for this reason he participated in the protest march.

The Fight Club star is known for his production company called Plan B Entertainment. The company has churned out movies such as Selma, 12 Years a Slave, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and Moon Light among others. 

The insider elaborated that Brad Pitt is a caring and smart gentleman and people should be proud of his gestures. Also, he is focused on where he wants to lend his support. The actor is reportedly committed to boosting awareness on various social movements and issues while he has the privilege to do so. 

Pitt took part in a protest where thousands of other people attended and are one of those innumerable demonstrations in America since the unjust death of George Floyd at the hands of the cops in Minneapolis. The 46-year-old passed away after a white cop called Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for about 9 minutes while he kept saying he could not breathe. 

The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star is also involved in many other social issues such as fighting the COVID-19. The actor has been in isolation at his home in Los Angeles ever since strict stay-at-home orders were issued in the city. 

Brad Pitt has not declared a formal statement as his reaction to George Floyd’s killing. However, the actor has made it clear that justice against the racial atrocities being faced by the African-American population is a must, Pinkvilla reports.
