David Beckham's Alleged Affairs: Unearthing the Past
In a series of startling revelations, Rebecca Loos, a former Dutch model, has reignited the flames of controversy surrounding David Beckham's alleged extramarital affairs from the early 2000s. The claims come at a time when David and his wife, Victoria Beckham, have recently addressed long-standing rumors of infidelity in their newly released Netflix docuseries, "Beckham."
Loos, who claims to have had an affair with the soccer superstar in 2003, has now alleged that she once caught Beckham in bed with another model. The incident reportedly took place on September 22, 2003, during a birthday party for Brazilian striker Ronaldo (Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima) in northern Madrid. Loos recalls finding Beckham "hiding at the bottom of the garden" with another woman.
The evening took a more dramatic turn when Loos received an unexpected phone call from Victoria Beckham. Desperate to reach her husband, who wasn't answering his phone, Victoria implored Loos to locate him. Following Victoria's request, Loos ventured into the house, where she encountered David's two bodyguards stationed outside a bedroom door. Upon entering, she allegedly found David with another model. Handing him the phone, Loos tersely informed him, "Your wife."
Loos's narrative provides further ammunition to her previous assertions that Beckham had multiple affairs after relocating to Spain in 2003 to play for Real Madrid. While Beckham has never publicly admitted to any infidelity, he has spoken about the strain such rumors placed on his marriage.
In the aforementioned Netflix docuseries, Beckham candidly discussed the challenges the couple faced during that tumultuous period. "I think we both felt at the time that we were not losing each other, but growing. I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty," he shared. He went on to emphasize the importance of their bond, stating, "Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for."
Victoria Beckham also opened up about the emotional toll the rumors took on their relationship. Reflecting on their time in Spain, she said, "Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else, but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad."
The Beckhams have weathered numerous storms throughout their two-decade-long marriage. While they have chosen to address some of the rumors head-on, others remain shrouded in mystery. As the couple continues to navigate the public eye, stories like these serve as a stark reminder of the challenges that come with fame.
