Last year, Star claimed that Jolie has the hots for Reeves because she thinks he’s gorgeous. An unnamed source told the tabloid that Reeves gives Jolie butterflies and she also likes him because he’s edgy and a little bit rogue.

The tabloid also claimed that Jolie and Reeves met in 2017 after the Maleficent star purchased a home in the neighborhood where Reeves’ mom, Patricia is residing in.

According to the source, Jolie and Patricia have also met. And Reeves’ mom allegedly wants her son to finally settle down. Patricia also allegedly thinks that Jolie would fit right into their family.

Jolie was allegedly on board with Patricia’s plan to pair her up with Reeves. However, she didn’t want to ask Patricia to set her up on a date with her son. As such, Jolie allegedly decided to reach out to her and Reeves’ mutual friend.

And what better venue for their first date than the actress’s home. Jolie allegedly had an intimate dinner arranged by a chef at her home so that she and Reeves could spend time alone.

One year has passed and Gossip Cop has debunked the claims made by the tabloid. The publication said that Jolie and Reeves didn’t enjoy an intimate dinner at the actress’s home last year. And Jolie and Reeves were never interested in dating each other.

Last year, a rep for Reeves sent a statement to Star denying their claims. The rep said that the article published by the tabloid is completely false and has no basis in any truth.

The rep also said that the alleged encounter between Jolie, Reeves, and his mom Patricia never occurred. The actor’s rep also accused the tabloid of manufacturing and inventing lies in an attempt to gain profit.

This isn’t the only time that the tabloid linked Jolie to another celebrity. Last year, the tabloid claimed that Jolie was dating Sean Penn. At that time, the tabloid alleged that Jolie was trying to get revenge at Brad Pitt amid his rumored affair with Charlize Theron.

However, Jolie and Penn never dated. And it is also untrue that Jolie was trying to revenge at Pitt.

Jolie and Pitt have been divorced 2016 and the A-listers have moved on from each other.
