In the ever-evolving world of music, where artists often collaborate and celebrate each other's successes, it's rare to witness a one-sided feud, especially between two artists of such high caliber. Yet, that's precisely what seems to have transpired between former Oasis rocker, Noel Gallagher, and global singing sensation, Adele.

Noel Gallagher, known for his candid and often controversial remarks, recently made headlines when he expressed his unfiltered opinions about Adele during an appearance on the Matt Morgan podcast. "Fck off, fcking hell. Name one? They're fcking sht. It's fcking awful. It's fcking Cilla Black. I find it and that whole thing offensive," Gallagher remarked, leaving fans and listeners puzzled about the sudden outburst.

The former Oasis member didn't stop there. He went on to say, "If I fall out of love with touring, I could see myself just sitting at home writing songs and sending them to my publishers. I might in the future. I'll be saying, 'Get Adele to sing that. Don't call until she's done the guide vocal'. I want Lewis Capaldi to murder this song, I want him to st on it from a great height. Make me rich'."

Such strong words from Gallagher were not only unexpected but also raised eyebrows, considering Adele's global acclaim and her status as one of the world's best-selling music artists, boasting a whopping 120 million records sold worldwide.

However, in a subsequent appearance on the same podcast, Gallagher shed light on what might have prompted his earlier comments. He revealed that he had received an invitation to meet Adele, which he found unsettling. "I don't think I have ever gone out of my way to start anything, it's always been a reaction to some f*cking idiot having a go in the first place," Gallagher explained. "You know me, I keep myself to myself." He further added, "I'm not one for causing a scene, I just stick it in the vault and just think revenge is a dish best served cold."

While Adele has not publicly responded to Gallagher's remarks, she continues to enjoy her sold-out "Weekends With Adele" Las Vegas Residency. On the other hand, Gallagher, along with his band, the High Flying Birds, and Garbage, wrapped up their Summer tour in the United States in July 2023.

It remains to be seen if this one-sided feud will escalate or if the two artists will find common ground. For now, fans of both musicians can only hope for harmony and perhaps, in an ideal world, a collaboration that brings together their unique talents.
