BLACKPINK's Jisoo and actor Ahn Bo-hyun have fired the starting gun on their public relationship.

On July 3rd, Jisoo's agency, YG Entertainment, announced to Sports Kyunghyang, "Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun are in the early stages of getting to know each other with positive feelings." They requested, "We would be grateful if you could look upon them with a warm gaze."

FN Entertainment, the agency representing Ahn Bo-hyun, similarly stated, "Ahn Bo-hyun has good feelings for Jisoo and they are in the process of learning about each other. We hope that everyone will watch over them warmly."

Earlier in the day, Dispatch exclusively reported on Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun's romantic relationship. Jisoo, being the first BLACKPINK member to officially acknowledge a romantic relationship, told Dispatch, "We are just starting, so we are being cautious. We have mutual fondness and are in the process of getting to know each other." Ahn Bo-hyun also confirmed his relationship with Jisoo.

Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun reportedly grew closer through their shared interests in acting, music, and fashion. The couple was also spotted together at the VIP screening of the movie 'Smugglers' at the MegaBox Coex in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 20th of last month.

According to the reports, Ahn Bo-hyun is said to take extremely good care of Jisoo. This is speculated to be the reason Jisoo, who had previously stated her ideal type as someone who likes her a lot, decided to go public with her relationship with Ahn.

YG Entertainment had previously either denied or remained silent about the dating rumors surrounding BLACKPINK. The agency did not officially acknowledge the dating rumors involving Jisoo and Son Heung-min, Jennie and G-Dragon-V, Rosé and Kang Dong-won, or Lisa and TAG Heuer CEO Frederic Arnault. As such, all eyes are now on Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun, as Jisoo is the first BLACKPINK member to publicly date.
