The late Lisa Marie Presley's Calabasas mansion, a sprawling 7,440-square-foot property, is now on the market. The home, which was the last residence of the singer and daughter of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, is listed for $4.6 million. The news comes in the wake of revelations about the circumstances surrounding Presley's untimely death earlier this year.

Presley, who was 54 at the time of her passing, had been renting the property with plans to purchase it. The mansion, which has undergone extensive renovations, features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a theater, a wine cellar, and a gym. The outdoor area boasts a pool, adding to the property's allure.

The singer moved into the mansion in 2020, sharing the residence with her twin daughters, Finley and Harper, 14, and her ex-husband, Danny Keough. The property was listed for sale shortly after the release of Presley's autopsy report in mid-July.

The L.A. County Coroner's report revealed that Presley's cause of death was a "sequelae of small bowel obstruction," believed to be the result of adhesions that developed following bariatric surgery she had undergone years earlier to lose weight. Toxicology reports also found oxycodone, Buprenorphine, and traces of the antipsychotic drug Quetiapine in her system.

The revelation of Presley's secret weight loss surgery came as a shock to her friends. One friend questioned the necessity of the procedure, stating, "When did you ever see Lisa look as if she needed bariatric surgery? She was not big at all. I don't know what kind of doctor would perform this surgery on her."

Jeffrey Augustine, a former Scientologist and private investigator, suggested that Presley had been trying to lose weight ahead of the release of Baz Luhrmann's Elvis movie. He claimed that Presley had hoped the film's publicity would boost Elvis sales, which she needed due to financial difficulties.

Augustine also pointed to Presley's strained relationship with her mother, Priscilla Presley, as a contributing factor to her health issues. He alleged that Lisa Marie had always struggled with her weight, a struggle that was exacerbated by living in the shadows of both her famous parents.

As the mansion goes on sale, it serves as a poignant reminder of the tragic loss of a woman who lived her life in the public eye, yet harbored private struggles. The property's sale is being handled by realtor Robb Friedman.
