In a recent revelation that has sent shockwaves through Hollywood, rapper Mickey Avalon has claimed that he supplied superstar Angelina Jolie with drugs during their high school years. Avalon, known for his hit "What Do You Say", made the startling allegations during an interview on the "FACTZ Podcast".

Avalon, who attended Beverly Hills High School with Jolie, confessed that he occasionally sold marijuana as a "means to an end". However, he specifically recalled an incident where he provided the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" actress with methadone pills, a potent opioid, originally belonging to his father.

"I wasn’t selling drugs. I think I gave her some of my dad’s methadone pills," the 47-year-old rapper alleged. He further elaborated that his father was on a liquid methadone regimen and had some extra pills. Avalon claimed that he probably sold the pills to Jolie for $5 or $10, a significant sum for him at the time. He speculated that Jolie might have passed on the pills to her boyfriend, but he couldn't confirm this.

Jolie has been open about her past struggles with substance abuse, admitting in a 2011 interview on 60 Minutes that she had experimented with "just about every drug possible". She expressed gratitude for surviving her "heavy, darker times" and acknowledged that she was fortunate not to have succumbed to her risky behavior.

"I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them," she shared. "I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things."

Jolie refrained from going into specific details about her past experiences but hinted that she had indulged in the "most dangerous and the worst" things. "For many reasons, I shouldn't be here," she added. "You just think [of] those times when you came too close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken, [going] too far."

Jolie has since left her wild child days behind, focusing on raising her six children, whom she shares with estranged ex-husband Brad Pitt, and her humanitarian work. However, her life is not without drama. Following her tumultuous split from Pitt, the exes have been embroiled in a heated court battle over their shared French winery.
