In a bid to salvage their tumultuous marriage, Hollywood stalwarts Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are said to be making a return trip down the aisle, just a year after their wedding. According to sources close to GLOBE, the celebrity duo is gearing up for an extravagant summer wedding at their $60 million Los Angeles estate, inviting a myriad of Tinseltown's elite to witness their reaffirmed commitment.

Following their Las Vegas nuptials last year and a subsequent celebration in Georgia, this will mark the couple's third marital celebration. The grand affair will also include the participation of their children from previous marriages.

The decision to renew their vows comes amid recent speculation of dissatisfaction in the couple's marriage. Rumors suggested that the duo had considered divorce due to the strain caused by 54-year-old Lopez's demanding persona and controlling tendencies. The tension was further magnified when photos of the couple arguing in public surfaced online.

"J.Lo has been the driving force behind the vow renewals," an inside source revealed. "She's desperate for the marriage to work and she's convinced Ben their best hope is to start over from scratch.

Despite their rough start, both celebrities remain resolute in their determination to make their marriage work. Previous reports pointed towards a possible strain due to Affleck's relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children. This reportedly triggered a wave of jealousy in the "Let's Get Loud" singer.

Insiders now reveal that Lopez has begun making efforts to improve her relationship with the "Alias" actress, who was married to Affleck for 13 years before their marriage ended in 2018.

A source revealed that Affleck is appreciative of J.Lo's efforts. "She's been a lot less high-maintenance and controlling and insecure. Things are a whole lot more chill than they were because she’s on her best behavior."

While the couple acknowledges their inherent nature as demanding individuals, they are focused on compromise and accentuating the positive aspects of their relationship.

"Time will tell whether renewing their vows is just what they need or merely a Band-Aid, but both of them are willing to give it a try!" said the source, indicating that only the future will reveal the effectiveness of this reconciliation strategy.
