Former President Donald Trump has escalated his rhetoric against President Joe Biden, linking the current White House administration to a bag of cocaine recently discovered in the West Wing. In an accusatory tirade on his Truth Social platform, Trump insinuated that the cocaine was likely for "Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe."

"THEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS," Trump posted on his account. He followed this with an accusation of tampering with evidence if the relevant footage is not released, suggesting the alleged narcotics were "for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe, to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!"

The former president, also embroiled in his own legal troubles surrounding the possession of classified documents, leveraged this incident to question the legitimacy of his indictment and arrest. Trump asked, "Was Crooked Joe Biden on Cocaine when he instructed the FBI/DOJ to illegally invade my home, Mar-a-Lago, in complete and total violation of my 4th Amendment Rights?"

The insinuations have been vehemently denied by the Biden administration, with a spokesperson stating they were not present when the alleged substance was found. The Secret Service, in the meantime, is conducting a comprehensive review of security footage and visitor logs to determine the origins of the drug.

Anthony Guglielmi, Secret Service chief of communications, has announced that an in-depth investigation is ongoing to decipher how the drug entered the White House. "The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending," he said.

Trump’s accusations against the Bidens, specifically targeting Hunter Biden, who has been candid about his struggles with substance addiction, are not new. He attempted to establish a connection between the Bidens and the illicit substance immediately following its discovery. He even suggested that Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is spearheading the DOJ's investigation into Trump's alleged misconduct, may be involved in planting the drugs in the White House.

The former president is trying to redirect attention away from his own legal issues, as he continues to battle two criminal cases. Amid these battles, the focus on the White House cocaine discovery has allowed Trump to shift public discourse away from his legal struggles and onto the Biden administration.

However, to date, no suspects have been identified regarding the incident, and the investigation remains ongoing. Trump's allegations remain unsubstantiated and contribute to the heightened political tension surrounding the incident.
