Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid Set To Auction Several Items To Support A Good Cause
Pregnant Gigi Hadid recently shared a picture with Zayn Malik to support two causes. The couple is giving back! Both the stars collaborated with British Vogue and supported it's The Way We Wore auction.
The couple announced in April that they are expecting their first baby together and while Hadid is pregnant, the couple will feature a good set of collections from their clothing to auction. This auction will feature a wide range of clothing from a myriad of stylish stars around the globe to come together and raise funds for two major causes.
Hadid and Malik want to ensure that relief is provided amid the COVID-19 pandemic through NHS Charities Together and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). The couple recently posed for a picture at their home for their part in portrait mode that showed off various items that will go up for the auction.
The picture included a pair of skirt and top from Fenty and a Dior's saddlebag. On the other hand, Malik can be seen sporting a denim shirt that is button-up while the model can be seen embracing sweetly on his shoulder. In this mirror selfie, one can see the designer bag of the model hanging on the back of One Direction's star.
Hadid, 25, shared her feelings by appreciating the opportunity to find a way that gives back to society. She hopes that the person who receives this stuff will enjoy it and acknowledging the fact that the contribution helped people struggling amid coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from these love birds, Paloma Elsesser, Helena Christensen, Christy Turlington Burns, Lily Aldridge, and Joan Smalls will contribute stuff from their wardrobes that will eventually help the cause. In the last few weeks, Hadid was seen using her social media platform to stand against racism after George Floyd's death.
She took Instagram and shared her sadness over the incident that took place and urged her fans to bring and demand the change that is required. She mentioned how Sickened, Heartbroken, and Enraged she felt but she wasn't surprised as it is happening way too often and these viral videos are not isolated incidents.
She further said that these "MURDERERS" get "investigated" only when they are caught on the camera while the only way change will happen when these people start facing the consequences. In the end, she urged her followers to "Keep signing petitions."
