Big Hit Entertainment has officially announced that the North American Tour of BTS will not be pushing through this April. The good news is that it's not completely canceled as the company says they will just move the concerts to a later date and honor the tickets that have already been sold.

Soompi says that this announcement comes after the company has already canceled the band's Seoul concerts, which was supposed to be held over four days in the month of April. Map of the Soul tour was supposed to be held on April 11, 12, 18 and 19. The tour would then move to different parts of the world.

In the US, the tour was supposed to be held at Levi's Stadium on April 25 and 26, and end on June 5 and 6 at Chicago, as told by Rolling Stones

The main reason for moving the dates is the coronavirus pandemic which is now being felt all over the world. As of this writing, there are more than 540,000 cases all over the world, with over 120,000 recovered and over 24,000 deaths. The USA now has the most cases, surpassing China and Italy. Most of the cases in America are from New York, followed by New Jersey and then California.

This is not the only event that has been canceled due to the pandemic. Other events such as Coachella and even the Olympics may be moved to another date to make sure that everyone will be safe from infection.

As for those who are fans of Kpop, it was also announced that KCON 2020 NY will also be canceled due to the coronavirus. The event would have been held on June 12-14 at the Madison Square Garden and the Javits Center. But with the city of New York reporting more and more positive cases for Covid-19, it was decided that the event must be canceled.

Meanwhile, while fans of BTS will still have to wait until they can hear them sing live, they may still be able to enjoy seeing them while learning a new language.

The group, recently, partnered with Weverse to launch a Korean language lesson series. There will be 30 lessons and the users will not only enjoy seeing the members on screen but will also get to learn basic Korean language.

This will come in handy for those who are true fans of the biggest boyband in the world as they may have an easier time understanding their idols.
