James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has suggested that the Biden family might have received upwards of $40 million from international entities in return for policy benefits, raising potential concerns of conflict of interest.

During his appearance on John Catsimatidis' "Cats & Cosby Show" on WABC 770 on Wednesday, the Republican representative from Kentucky claimed that the committee has pinpointed "six distinct policy decisions" that hint at potential compromise on Biden's part, four of which took place during his early presidency.

Comer insisted, "We cannot decipher any other reason behind these decisions being made, apart from the possibility that this president is compromised." He went on to describe the situation as "organized crime."

The Chairman further elaborated that recent information, including bank statements and suspicious activity reports acquired by the committee, have revealed more bank accounts, shell companies, and Biden family members involved in what he termed as an overseas influence trading scheme.

Comer said the GOP-led committee is seeking to establish the total amount received by the Bidens and Joe Biden's involvement in the transactions, describing the investigation as "a massive puzzle."

He pointed to "Around 30 to 40 different banks, and approximately the same number of shell companies. The Biden family seems to have organized an effort to obscure the source of these funds and evade IRS scrutiny, thereby avoiding taxation. This corroborates allegations made by IRS whistleblowers in their interview with the Ways and Means Committee, who claim that the Biden family never declared any income from the transactions involving these shell companies."

IRS whistleblower Gary Shapely spoke to Fox News host Bret Baier on Wednesday, revealing that in 2017 and 2018 alone, Hunter Biden managed to avoid a $1.2 million tax bill, with potentially hundreds of thousands more unreported income from previous years.

Shapely added, "Even today, around $400,000 in income from Burisma Holdings in 2014 remains unreported. Hunter Biden was advised by his partner, Eric Schwerin, to amend his tax returns, but he never did."

Comer expressed his confidence to Catsimatidis that his committee's investigation will verify the Biden family's earnings from overseas to be "at least $17 million," possibly exceeding "$40 million."

Comer has named nine members of the Biden family, including Hunter Biden, President's brother James Biden, his wife Sara Biden, Hallie Biden (widow of President's late son), Hunter's current wife Melissa Cohen Biden, and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, as potential recipients of foreign income.
