In an unexpected turn of events, Prince William, father of three and future British monarch, let his hair down on June 23rd at a well-known London nightclub, KOKO. However, what caught the public eye was the absence of his better half, Kate Middleton.

Sources reported that Prince William celebrated his 41st birthday, which fell two days prior, in high spirits. Joining him were close friends Guy Pelly and James Meade, both godparents to his children, as they indulged in dance and beer.

The Duke of Cambridge faced criticism earlier this month when he and Kate graced the wedding of Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Saif. Rachel Burchfield, on an episode of "Podcast Royal," took exception to William's behavior, admonishing him for telling Kate to "chop chop" as she interacted with the bride.

Rachel recounted, "First of all, William, you were talking to the bride forever, dude. And then Kate gets up there and she’s talking to her for, like, no time at all and then he’s like, ‘Chop chop’ — no!"

Recently, insights into the couple's dynamic have been increasingly public. Royal expert, Roya Nikkhah, compared their relationship to that of King Charles and Princess Diana.

"Charles was always very upset when Diana had eclipsed him, which was all the time. William is delighted by the fact that people warm to Catherine. William is comfortable with that," Nikkhah revealed on True Royalty TV. She further mentioned how William often discusses Kate's work with genuine excitement, expressing his delight at her gaining recognition.

However, she did admit that there's one aspect that irks William. "The only thing I know that does slightly bother him is when he is cropped out of photos. You will find very often they will do a joint engagement and the front page of the news the next day, it is as if William was never there!" she noted.

Details about Prince William's birthday celebration at the club were initially reported by the Daily Mail.
