Chris Noth Feels Sidelined by 'Sex and the City' Cast Following Scandal!
A furious Chris Noth is reportedly struggling to come to terms with what he sees as an uncalled-for cold shoulder from Sarah Jessica Parker and his other 'Sex and the City' colleagues, following the scandal that resulted from allegations of assault against him, according to insiders.
The 68-year-old actor, famed for his role as Mr. Big in the iconic HBO series, its two movie spin-offs, and the sequel series 'And Just Like That,' found himself suddenly written out of the show in December 2021. This coincided with multiple women coming forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct in the past.
Despite his fervent denials of these allegations, sources disclose to The National ENQUIRER that Noth believes he is entitled to an apology for the perceived slight by his former on-screen companions. The actor, they say, feels alienated and deeply hurt by the frosty treatment he's receiving from his erstwhile colleagues.
"No invitations to social gatherings, no birthday wishes or cards, it's as if he has been cast adrift," an insider reveals. "He's perplexed by the ongoing shunning from SJP and the others." The source adds that Noth, who continues to maintain that all his sexual encounters were consensual, has never faced formal charges relating to the accusations.
Heather Kristin, a substitute for Kristin Davis in 'SATC,' made allegations that Noth acted inappropriately on set, a claim that his spokesperson has categorically refuted.
The controversy saw Noth dropped by his talent agency and he lost his role on 'The Equalizer'. A Peloton commercial featuring him was also pulled from airing. Despite these setbacks, he's gradually resurfacing in the acting world and was even awarded a standing ovation for his off-off-Broadway reading of Ionesco's 'Rhinoceros' last year.
What adds salt to Noth's wound, according to the insider, is the apparent preferential treatment the 'And Just Like That' team extended to returning co-star Kim Cattrall. The source implies this disparity "makes their ostracizing of him seem even more unjust!"
