Collin Gosselin Overlooks Mother and Majority of Siblings in Commemorative Graduation Post
High school graduate Collin Gosselin recently used his social media platform to reflect on his educational journey and express gratitude towards those instrumental in his success. Strikingly, his mother, Kate Gosselin, and several siblings were absent from his heartfelt acknowledgment.
Living with his father, Jon Gosselin, and sister, Hannah, Collin initially expressed reservations about commemorating his graduation on social media, given its commonplace nature among students. However, he chose to transform the post into a tribute to his "mentors, friends, and family."
Expressing his appreciation, the 18-year-old said, "I want to first thank my amazing sister, Hannah, for standing by me and supporting me, she is my number 1." He praised his father for educating him on resilience and enduring hard times, and thanked him for his unwavering support.
Collin extended his gratitude to Colleen, his father's ex, for her persistent encouragement. He considers her the ideal supportive figure, referring to her as his "motivator for being successful in this world."
Moreover, he thanked his Army Junior ROTC instructors, First Sergeant Dolan, Sergeant Gonzalez, and Major New, for their inspiring leadership and imparting valuable life lessons.
The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star ended his post by expressing excitement for his forthcoming "challenge of the Marine Corps." After training, he plans to pursue a college education in "Mechanical and Industrial Engineering."
As previously reported by OK!, Collin and his mother's strained relationship has been ongoing for several years, a fact that became evident when she reportedly ignored him at his graduation ceremony.
A source pointed out Kate's seemingly selective attention at the event, stating, "Kate has some nerve showing up at the graduation and giving only Hannah love...Showing up to a special event like this and only giving attention to one of the two kids just shows Kate hasn’t changed."
Collin's message also notably left out his other siblings, sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Alexis, and Leah, along with twin sisters Cara and Maddy, aged 22.
