Justin Theroux was reportedly devastated after he learned that Jennifer Aniston kept Brad Pitt’s love notes years after their divorce.

In 2015, Aniston and Theroux tied the knot in a secret ceremony that was reportedly disguised as the latter’s 44th birthday party. Some of their closest friends like Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow were there.

Two years later, cracks in the couple’s marriage began to show after the couple reportedly went on a make or break luxury break. By February 2018, speculations about their split became rifer after Theroux skipped Aniston’s 49th birthday bash.

Four days after the party, Theroux and Aniston released a joint statement announcing the end of their marriage. And one of the alleged reasons for the couple’s split had to be Pitt.

Theroux found out that Aniston was keeping secret love notes from her ex-husband and he was reportedly devastated. According to Mirror, the cute notes contained adorable messages from Pitt expressing how much he missed Aniston. Another note shows Pitt telling his ex-wife that she looked nice that night.

Another reason for Theroux and Aniston’s split had to do with their living arrangements. Theroux wanted to stay in New York but Aniston wanted to continue living in Los Angeles.

Following the couple’s split, Theroux and Aniston released a statement saying that the decision was mutual. And they also vowed to stay friends. Today, the former couple is still in contact with each other.

In fact, when Aniston joined Instagram, Theroux was one of the first people that commented on his ex-wife’s post. And when their dog died, the former couple reunited for their dog’s funeral service.

Meanwhile, Aniston and Pitt have also stayed friends following their divorce in 2005. In fact, they recently reunited at the SAG Awards and sparked rumors that they could get back together.

However, Aniston and Pitt proved their fans wrong because months have passed and they still haven’t gotten back together. There are also rumors claiming that Pitt is dating Alia Shawkat.

According to tabloids, Pitt and Shawkat started hanging out after they were introduced to each other by their common friends.

In Touch Weekly also claimed that Shawkat moved into Pitt’s home recently. However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.

Pitt and Shawkat aren’t living together because they are not a couple.
