Renowned singer Celine Dion is facing escalating health struggles, insiders have revealed. The Canadian songstress, already dealing with significant health issues, now relies on a wheelchair for mobility.

The 55-year-old global sensation, known for hits like "I'm Alive," had recently stunned her fans by canceling her international concerts through 2024. Close sources now indicate that her health status is more critical than what's publicly known. Dion is reportedly battling stiff-person syndrome, a nerve disorder that can cause extreme muscle stiffness and functional impairment.

"When she's not in bed, Celine is confined to a wheelchair. Honestly, her mobility is highly compromised," disclosed an inside source. Dion had earlier stated that she's "working really hard to build back my strength."

However, insiders believe her touring days might be over.

"Celine is enduring immense pain," a source revealed, adding, "Despite having the best medical team money can procure, her prognosis isn't encouraging."

Another confidant noted, "Her condition is incurable. Despite all her efforts with medical professionals and therapists, her health isn't improving."

The "My Heart Will Go On" singer is now making significant lifestyle changes in the wake of her deteriorating health. She has reportedly sold her lavish $30 million Las Vegas residence, where she lived for over 15 years, with plans to move back to her home country of Canada to be near her family.

The source added, "Celine has 11 siblings residing in Canada. They're a remarkable, loving support system for her during this personal crisis."

Dion revealed in December 2022 that she was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder with no known cure. Although treatments can slow down the disease progression, Celine is doing all she can to mitigate the symptoms.

This revelation comes shortly after the iconic singer had to call off her world tour indefinitely due to health reasons.

On May 26, Dion shared her disappointment on Instagram about her inability to perform on her world tour. She also stressed that she was working tirelessly to regain her strength.

Accompanying an image of the canceled tour dates, she expressed, "I'm so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. Touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%. It's not fair to you to keep postponing the shows... even though it breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything now until I'm really ready to be back on stage again."

In her heartfelt message, she reassured her fans, "I want you all to know, I'm not giving up… and I can't wait to see you again!"
