The suspected perpetrator who purportedly attacked singer Bebe Rexha with a mobile phone, leading to her hospitalization, is now under arrest, according to New York authorities.

Bebe Rexha, the 33-year-old artist known for her hit "I'm Good (Blue)," was reportedly struck in her face with a mobile phone during a live performance at New York City's Pier 17 Rooftop, according to various spectators who spoke with The Post.

Rexha was immediately ushered to a nearby hospital for her injuries which necessitated three stitches, as reported by TMZ.

The suspect, Nicolas Malvagna, was promptly apprehended and charged with assault by the NYPD. The 27-year-old New Jersey resident is being held in custody, charged with a felony for employing his phone as a weapon, and is expected to appear in court later on Monday, as per ABC7NY.

"Bebe was incredible on stage, but as she was concluding her performance and exiting, someone hurled what seemed to be a mobile phone, striking her directly in the face," shared concertgoer Brian Good, 48, from Kearny, New Jersey, with The Post on Monday.

Rexha was injured just beneath her left eye, with crew members rushing to her assistance, based on multiple eyewitness accounts.

Social media was abuzz with videos of the Grammy-nominated artist holding her injured cheek, while fans echoed her name.

In the wake of the unsettling incident, Rexha shared a snapshot of her injuries on Instagram with the caption: “I'm good.”

Support for the Staten Island-born star poured in from fans across Twitter, with many criticizing the unprecedented attack.

One fan expressed, “This is incredibly appalling and unsettling. Bebe Rexha didn't deserve this. I wish her a swift recovery, and I hope the assailant who threw the phone faces assault charges.”

Rexha's concert in New York City was a segment of her 'Best F'n Night of My Life' tour, which is set to continue with four more dates. The tour is scheduled to make stops at various venues including the Fillmore in Philadelphia, the Fillmore Silver Spring in Maryland, Atlanta's Tabernacle, and the Hard Rock Live Orlando in Florida.
