Britney Spears, known for her turbulent relationship with her family, has made a brief, 30-minute reconciliation with her mother, Lynne Spears, following years of contentious clashes.

Lynne, 68, made her way to Los Angeles for the fleeting conciliatory encounter with her eldest daughter, now 41. An insider divulges that there has been an increase in text communication between the two of late.

In an Instagram post last December, the acclaimed 'Toxic' singer hinted at the thawing relations, stating, “After no coffee for 15 years … Mom, we can go have coffee together now!!!” This sentiment was a stark departure from her previous message to Lynne, which was less cordial.

The music sensation has implicated her entire family in the conservatorship saga overseen by her father, Jamie Spears, 70, which monopolized her life for 13 years. She holds them accountable for her subjection to the controlling legal arrangement.

Recently, Britney revealed another grievance against her family, alleging that her mother slapped her after a late-night party. "Yes, I partied until like 4am and my mother was PISSED !!!! I walked in, she looked at me and hit me so hard that I will never forget it!!!" she confessed.

Britney's spouse, Sam Asghari, 29, was present during the brief mother-daughter truce, sources reveal. The short duration of the reunion suggests there is still a considerable way to go in mending their fractured relationship. Yet, this development might be a starting point towards much-needed family reconciliation.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline Reject Sensationalized Tabloid Narratives

Britney Spears and her former spouse, Kevin Federline, are staunchly denying sensationalized media claims that they deem inaccurate.

The pop sensation was wed to Federline from 2004 until 2007, and they share two adolescent sons, Sean and Jayden.

A controversial Daily Mail article recently cited Federline voicing concerns that Spears might be using meth. Simultaneously, The Sun, another UK tabloid, alleged Federline orchestrated an unsuccessful intervention for his ex-spouse.

“It’s distressing to see people spreading falsehoods,” Spears expressed in an Instagram post over the weekend. She voiced hope that Federline and their elder son Sean, also quoted in the Daily Mail piece, hadn't made such comments about her.

She lamented, “...my heart aches, and the press seems to target me…," she expressed. “Creating lies to this degree is sad…Why must I always be the one to endure and rise above???”

CNN sought additional remarks from Spears’ representative.

In a similar vein, Federline uploaded an Instagram statement criticizing the journalists from both tabloids for inventing falsehoods and exploiting their family's tribulations, including those of their minor children.

He indicated that the reporters had been given access to their residence based on trust, which was betrayed and led to cutting off ties in March for numerous reasons.

He concluded his statement with, "The misleading narratives and exploiting of minors serve as mere clickbait and epitomize the unfortunate depths to which some facets of journalism have plummeted today."

The Daily Mail’s spokesperson asserted the organization's support for Daphne Barak’s story in a statement to CNN on Monday.

“Daphne Barak has confirmed that the quotes ascribed to Kevin and the family are precise and depict an accurate account of the interviews conducted. She alleges that Kevin disclosed his fears about Britney possibly resorting to crystal meth to her, producer Erbil Gunasti, and the filming crew,” the statement partly read.

The spokesperson added, "Kevin expressed his hope to Daphne that the situation, as he perceived it, would be exposed, as he believed that would pave the way for Britney to receive help."
