After two decades of hosting over 1,100 concerts at her Las Vegas residency near Caesars Palace, Celine Dion has put her $30 million mansion up for sale. This move comes amid the 55-year-old singer's worsening health condition, according to sources close to Dion. RadarOnline.com reports that the renowned Canadian artist will be returning to her homeland to focus on her recovery from stiff-person syndrome.

Following the abrupt cancellation of her eagerly awaited international concert tour, Dion has been battling the rare ailment since July 5, 2019. Her decision to return to Canada is largely influenced by the strong support system she enjoys back home.

According to a close associate, "Celine's large family of 11 brothers and sisters residing in Canada provides an incredible support network for her during this challenging period."

The anonymous source also revealed, "Despite her relentless efforts alongside a team of doctors and therapists, Celine's condition isn't improving. It's a disease without a cure."

Dion publicly disclosed her diagnosis in December, explaining that stiff-person syndrome triggers uncontrollable muscle spasms which can potentially lead to more severe medical issues. The disease can even be fatal, typically within six years of diagnosis.

A friend of Dion shared her disappointments and how her health has impeded her plans, "Celine was thrilled about her upcoming world tour this year and next, followed by another residency in Las Vegas. But increasingly, it seems unlikely she will grace the stage again."

With her performance prospects uncertain, Dion reportedly prefers the comfort and love of her family back in Quebec.

It has also been reported by RadarOnline.com that Dion has been seeking solace in her long-standing friendship with fellow Canadian singer Shania Twain during this challenging time.

A source shed light on their relationship, saying, "Celine and Shania have enjoyed a deep bond for years. They have been each other's pillar of support and confidants for decades."

As Dion battles stiff-person syndrome, her relationship with Twain has only strengthened. "Shania wants Celine to know she isn't alone in her struggle, as dealing with such a condition privately can be incredibly isolating," an insider revealed.
