Popular model Kendall Jenner made an appearance online recently in the form of a picture that shows her holding a "Black Lives Matter" sign, and donning a black-tinted face mask. The model, however, denied posting the aforesaid image via a tweet.

Kendall Jenner took social media to clarify and stop the circulation of the photoshopped image while many other celebrities such as Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and others took to the streets to march in the peaceful protest and support the ongoing movement dubbed, Black Lives Matters.

Several netizens understandably thought that the 24-year-old model had participated in the protest when a photo showing her with a black face mask and holding a Black Lives Matter sign began doing the rounds online. 

It didn't take too long for fans to realize that the shadow behind Jenner where the sign should be visible was missing, and they quickly called the model out for broadcasting a photoshopped image on the internet. Someone zoomed in the picture and posted by adding a caption that said, "I know being famous is so difficult."

Showing support is important but rather than investing time in photoshopping the image, Jenner should have simply signed a petition or even shot a video of her talking about this horrific incident along with what the organization of BLM supports was tweeted.

Another Twitterati wrote on the social media platform urging everyone to simply cancel all celebrities at the moment and accompanied the tweet with the photoshopped image along with the aforesaid message. While another user accused her of being lazy and not protesting and chose to fake it with the help of photoshop.

However, after several allegations Jenner, 24 went straight on Twitter and explained the original picture that was edited to seem like she was on the streets protesting. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told that the photo was photoshopped by someone else and she did not post that image.

Even though the model has not been seen publicly at Black Lives Matter protest on the streets, she did stand in solidarity by taking a vow that ensures she educates herself about racism to become a better supporter.

Jenner said, she has been thinking a lot in the past few days and her heart is heavy. She is hurt and angry like others and will never understand personally the pain and fear the black community is going through.

One thing is sure "that nobody should live in constant fear", she added. She acknowledged her white privileges and promised to continue to educate herself and learn how can she help rather than ragging on social media platforms.
