They are one of the most-loved and glamorous couples in Hollywood. Yet the controversies surrounding George Clooney and Amal Clooney’s marriage just do not seem to stop. 

In February this year, a tabloid published a report claiming the couple did not even meet each other after they traveled to New York in October 2019. A so-called insider mentioned the tension between the couple was visible even then.

However, contrary to this report, the couple celebrated their fifth marriage anniversary on the same trip. Additionally, they were living together in the United Kingdom contrary to rumors as the actor was busy shooting for his new film, The Midnight Sky. 

Another article insisted that Clooneys were having frequent arguments over there they should reside. It was reported George prefers to live in Los Angeles but his wife is in favor of living in England. The report further stated Amal is not fond of Los Angeles. 

A representative of the actor had clarified in the past that the Clooneys have not left Los Angeles. Rather the family split their time between LA and London. 

Contradictory reports of the couple rekindling their romance and heading for an exorbitantly expensive divorce had also surfaced. However, even these seem to be sheer speculations because the couple has neither confirmed they are heading for an expensive divorce or are struggling with their relationship. 

Just last month, there was another story that George Clooney and Amal Clooney have reached a “breakpoint” as far as their marriage is concerned. The same article contended the couple was having massive arguments over their parenting styles, which are poles apart from each other. 

A paparazzi photograph accompanied the story claiming the couple was allegedly fighting while taking a stroll on the beach. However, if one closely observes the pictures, there is no indication of them fighting. 

Instead, the couple looked happy in each other’s company. According to Gossip Cop, these stories are ridiculous and incorrect. 

Last year, George had revealed in an interview given to The Hollywood Reporter that he has tightened up security measure since Amal is fighting a case against the deadly ISIS. However, the actor also added that he supports his wife’s decision to be associated with this delicate case. 

George Clooney admitted he and Amal Clooney have to deal with “real security issues” regularly. He also said they do not want their children to be targets. It is clear the actor is concerned about his family and cares for them contrary to what some of the reports have indicated.
