Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux split after being married for just two years. The actor was reportedly devastated after he discovered secret love messages from Brad Pitt to Jen. 

Pitt and Aniston broke their fans’ hearts when they declared their intention to separate in 2005. People believed the Hollywood’s golden couple had an ideal marriage and yet everything changed after just five years of their marriage. 

The Friends alum maintained a low-profile after her split as she reportedly tried to deal with the agony caused due to her breakup with the Troy actor. However, the actress met Justin Theroux in 2007 on the sets of Tropic Thunder and everything changed. 

The pair worked on a film called Wanderlust three years later and it appeared as if Jen has finally met the man of her dreams. Soon, they were seen enjoying time together. Rumors had it that they were living together by August 2011. 

Theroux adopted a rescue dog and proposed to her in 2012. It seems Aniston gladly said yes to his proposal. The couple got married three years later in a low-key wedding ceremony, which was in the disguise of a birthday bash for the actor’s 44th, The Mirror reports. 

Reports had it that the couple appeared happy and shared mushy photos on social media to show their love to the world. Sadly, though, there was trouble in paradise just after two years in 2017.

It was reported that the couple made a last attempt to save their marriage by going on a luxury break. In February 2015, the couple, however, declared the end of their marriage. The statement read the decision to split was “mutual and lovingly made.”

There had been reports insisting Justin Theroux was shattered when he discovered Jennifer Aniston still kept the secret love messages her former husband Brad Pitt wrote for her. Although sources claimed Jen tried to convince Theroux those notes meant nothing to her, the actor was not exactly thrilled.

It was also claimed the impact of those love notes were immense. Tabloids suggested the couple also argued about where to live. While Theroux wanted to love in New York, the Morning Show star wished to make LA their base. 

Meanwhile, the former golden couple is excited that Pitt’s favorite niece has graduated with a degree in architecture. He has reportedly invited his niece to use his mansion in Santa Barbara anytime to celebrate according to another report by The Mirror.
