Khloe's response to the rumors came in a comment she posted on Instagram, addressing a blind item screenshot about the alleged reunion. She rebuked the perpetuation of such baseless speculations, writing, "Stop pushing this narrative. It's tiring...It's exhausting, but I learned people will only understand to the level of their own perception. Most are stuck at believing the lies because it's the narrative they want to fuel."

Encouraging those who continue to fuel these rumors, the co-founder of Good American advised them to "have fun," highlighting that not all things are complex and some are as straightforward as they appear.

She also drew parallels between Kim's support for Thompson and her own relationship with Kourtney Kardashian's ex, Scott Disick. She argued that just as she continues to support Disick, Kim's support for Thompson does not necessarily indicate a romantic involvement. "A family member supporting another family member ESPECIALLY during a difficult time in life...just [like] how I support Scott and will forever support him...If there [are] no photos, people think it really didn't happen, but yes, I see Scott often. Some things really are just as they are."

Fans appreciated Khloe's clarification, expressing their love and apologizing for inadvertently helping spread the rumors. One of the fans said, "Thank you, Khloé, for clarifying this matter. We apologize!"
