Decades-Old John F. Kennedy Assassination Mystery: Former Bodyguard Points to LBJ Conspiracy
In a stunning revelation, former White House Secret Service agent, Abraham Bolden, now 88, has claimed that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was a conspiracy orchestrated by his own vice president, Lyndon B. Johnson. This new testimony brings a shocking twist to the assassination narrative that has puzzled America for decades.
Bolden, who was part of JFK's security detail, alleges that he first recognized the threat to Kennedy's life during a heated exchange between Kennedy, Johnson, and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy about 30 months prior to the Dallas tragedy on November 22, 1963. The former bodyguard recalls Johnson's face "red and puffed up like someone who was angry beyond imagination," an image that deeply unsettled him.
Despite reporting his concerns about Johnson being a "serious threat" to the president to Secret Service Chief Urbanus Edmund Baughman, Bolden's warnings were disregarded. His position as the first Black man assigned to protect a U.S. president was abruptly terminated in 1964, mere weeks before the Warren Commission report on Kennedy's assassination was released.
Bolden was subsequently imprisoned for three years on a bribery charge related to a counterfeiting case, a conviction that JFK historians and insiders now consider as retribution for his accusations against Johnson. The main witness against Bolden later recanted his testimony, leading to Bolden's pardon by President Joe Biden in 2022.
Historical records indicate that Johnson was under investigation for alleged kickbacks on government contracts in the 1950s. However, this probe was abruptly dropped after Johnson ascended to the presidency following JFK's death.
According to presidential expert Robert Morrow, the Kennedys were determined to expose Johnson's alleged corruption, even planning to remove him from the 1964 ticket. Johnson's wrath, Bolden suggests, was triggered by JFK's Agricultural Department investigating Billie Sol Estes, a Texas businessman and Johnson's close ally, for manipulating a federal cotton subsidy program.
Morrow points out that Johnson was facing "complete personal destruction" at the hands of the Kennedys in November 1963. He contends, "That's why he arranged the immediate assassination of JFK."
While Lee Harvey Oswald has historically been blamed for the assassination, Bolden's explosive testimony fuels renewed speculation surrounding LBJ's involvement. The revelations have rekindled the mystery surrounding JFK's assassination, a topic that continues to captivate the nation's imagination.
