Drew Barrymore became a trending topic after one fan claims that Adam Sandler is better paired with Jennifer Aniston than her. Barrymore probably found nothing to comment about in that statement, but her fans naturally defended her.

“Name a better duo in movie [sic] than Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. I’ll wait,” a fan tweeted on Saturday, June 6. Naturally, all those who enjoyed “50 First Dates,” which is an iconic romantic comedy movie, found that a weird statement to make, if not quite insulting. 

One claimed that Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are actually an “OG” couple and are “cute AF.” The commenter claimed that the audacity of the person to suggest Sandler is better with Aniston is unbelievable. Another hilariously quipped that this is certainly an insult to Adam Sandler, who poured his everything to the movie.

Adam Sandler is simply best-matched with Drew Barrymore,  another fan simply wrote, getting the point across. 

It must be remembered that the two worked for other projects in the past apart from the iconic “50 First Dates.” There’s “The Wedding Singer” and then there is also “Blended.”

On the other hand, Aniston and Sandler also worked on several projects, such as “Just Go wit It.” The two have also recently worked on the Netflix’s “Murder Mystery.”

In essence, there is no need to choose between Barrymore and Aniston. To say one is a better co-star or partner onscreen is a disservice to the other.

The thing with Barrymore and Sandler is that they even have a tight relationship outside of acting. The same goes for Aniston and Sandler! This is probably why both team-ups have their own fans. The “Friends” alumni made a shout out to Sander at the SAG Awards earlier this year, after she won for “The Morning Show.” On the other hand, Barrymore was the one who presented him the “Best Actor” during the National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala.

Before handing the award to him, she told the crowd that she has great love for the man and that the award was certainly well-deserved. She added that Sandler certainly won because he earned everyone’s respect and deserved the best. Sandler got really emotional hearing that, even saying he was glad they have met and worked together.

In 2018, Barrymore already said that she wished to work with Sandler again and that even after all the time that has passed, they constantly text each other.
