In a recent development, a security guard, Thomas Weidenmuller, has accused rapper Nicki Minaj of hurling a shoe at him during a verbal dispute, although she failed to hit him. Weidenmuller is currently suing Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, over an alleged backstage assault, as RadarOnline.com has discovered.

Weidenmuller's new declaration, obtained by RadarOnline.com, reveals details of the alleged incident on March 22, 2019, in Frankfurt, Germany. In his battery lawsuit, Weidenmuller claimed he was part of the security team for Minaj's "Nicki Wrld Tour." He alleged that during one performance, a fan managed to bypass the security barricade and dance on stage with Minaj before being escorted off.

After the concert, Weidenmuller claimed Minaj and her team confronted a female security guard responsible for monitoring the stage. He said he witnessed Minaj make the woman cry while filming her and demanding an apology and an explanation for the security lapse.

Initially, Weidenmuller advised his fellow security personnel to listen quietly to Minaj's complaints, despite her angry outbursts and accusations. However, he eventually intervened, objecting to the way Minaj was treating the other guards. At this point, Weidenmuller claimed, Minaj threw a shoe at him but missed. He said Minaj then turned to Petty and informed him of the situation.

Later, backstage, Weidenmuller alleged, "While Minaj screamed obscenities at me, Petty repositioned himself out of my eyesight and without warning struck me in the face, which stunned and disoriented me." The security guard was unsure whether Petty had struck him with a fist or a weapon due to the surprise nature of the attack.

Weidenmuller sought immediate medical attention at the venue and was advised to visit a hospital for treatment. He recounted the pain as "far more extreme than any pain I had ever experienced in my life, or have felt since that day." Weidenmuller claimed he suffered a broken jaw from Petty's alleged attack, necessitating multiple surgeries and the insertion of five plates in his jaw. His jaw has not been fully reconstructed yet.

Weidenmuller is seeking $700k in damages for the injuries he sustained. Minaj and Petty have not yet responded to the lawsuit.
