A court has granted full custody of 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley to Michael Lockwood, the ex-husband of the late Lisa Marie Presley. Despite a contentious legal battle with Elvis Presley's daughter over her fortune and their children, the court's decision comes after her sudden cardiac arrest and death at age 54 on January 12th.

Following Lisa Marie's passing, the twins began living with their 61-year-old musician father. Prior to her death, Lisa Marie and Lockwood were embroiled in a bitter dispute over a prenuptial agreement that left him with very little when they divorced in 2016.

Now, insiders suggest that Lockwood may have another opportunity to secure a portion of the Presley family fortune, per Globe. As the legal guardian of the twins, he will manage their interests in Lisa Marie's trust and Elvis' Graceland mansion, which generated a remarkable $110 million in revenue last year.

Despite Lockwood's claim that he maintains a cordial relationship with the rest of the Presley family, he was not invited to Lisa Marie's funeral. However, he alleges that his former mother-in-law, Priscilla Presley, ultimately secured his attendance. Priscilla, Elvis' only wife, is currently battling for a share of the family estate as well.

Lisa Marie's oldest daughter, Riley Keough, a 33-year-old actress known for her role in "Daisy Jones & The Six," serves as the sole trustee of the $700 million family fortune and Graceland. Priscilla previously managed the estate but was discreetly removed from Lisa Marie's will, which granted control to Riley and her now-deceased brother, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020. Priscilla is contesting certain provisions in Lisa Marie's will, and after a tumultuous few months, she and Riley have reconciled.

However, sources indicate that Riley remains cautious of Lockwood's intentions.
