Soap Star's Daughter Arrested in Unusual Supermarket Incident, Attempts to Flee Custody
Paris St. John, the 31-year-old daughter of late soap star Kristoff St. John, has recently been arrested for indecent exposure following an incident where she was found meditating naked in a Boise supermarket, Globe claimed in its latest issue.
According to an arrest affidavit, a store employee reported the bizarre occurrence through a 911 call.
By the time investigators arrived at the scene, the employee had persuaded Paris to get dressed. She was subsequently taken into custody at Ada County Jail. However, authorities report that she attempted to escape when a door opened for a police officer entering the facility. Paris was quickly tackled and now faces two additional misdemeanor charges for escape and resisting or obstructing officers. Sources indicate that she is currently undergoing mental health treatment.
Kristoff St. John, Paris's father, was a famed actor on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, where he portrayed Neil Winters for 28 years. Sadly, he passed away in 2019 at the age of 52 due to heart disease caused by alcohol abuse.
His death occurred almost five years after his son Julian, Paris's brother, died by suicide at the age of 24 while a patient at La Casa Psychiatric Health Facility in Long Beach, California.
Mia St. John, Kristoff's ex-wife and former professional boxer, has openly discussed the challenges her late son and husband faced. She revealed that Julian struggled with schizophrenia from the age of 18. Kristoff, who also had a daughter named Lola, 20, with ex-partner Allana Nadal, suffered from bipolar disorder and alcoholism.
