Prince Harry Accused of Seeking Headlines, Royal Biographer Calls Sussexes 'Repugnant'
Angela Levin, Prince Harry's biographer, criticized the Duke of Sussex during her appearance on "GB News" with Dan Wootton. The discussion centered around Prince Harry's recent revelation regarding Prince William's settlement from Rupert Murdoch following alleged phone hacking incidents by the media mogul's employees.
Wootton suggested that Prince Harry was intentionally creating controversy just a week before King Charles' coronation, which he found offensive. Levin agreed, stating, "I think he's just making things up, he's desperate though. He's desperate to make headlines, take it off King Charles, Queen Camilla and to actually get there on the newspaper."
Levin argued that Prince Harry doesn't care about the consequences of his actions, as he believes his supporters only focus on snippets of information rather than the full context. She added, "That's why also, just to divert for a second that he was talking, Meghan was talking about racism is to bring it back before the coronation begins."
The author of "Harry: A Biography of a Prince" also highlighted inconsistencies in Prince Harry's approach to the case, pointing out that he claimed he would have filed the case in 2012 if he had known he could speak earlier. However, Levin alleged that Prince Harry didn't want to do so at the time.
Levin asserted that the Duke's true motivation is to gain front-page attention, referring to his recent appearance in the UK as "completely unnecessary." She said, "This time, he's watching it remotely from his home, which makes a lot more sense."
The royal biographer went on to call the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "repugnant" and claimed that people were laughing at them. She referred to the couple's recent appearance at an NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. During the game, the couple appeared on the kiss cam, but Meghan Markle playfully dismissed Prince Harry's attempt to kiss her.
It should be noted that the Entertainment Times could not independently verify the claims made by Angela Levin.
