Phil Robertson surprised many people last week when he announced that had another daughter who was a product from an affair. 

Too Fab reports that the Duck Dynasty star recently found out that he had fathered a daughter when he had an affair in the 1970s. He was able to bring his daughter to his Unashamed podcast and they talked about how they were able to meet each other. 

Apparently, Phyllis, who is now 45 years old, had always felt that she was different from her other siblings. After her son took a DNA test, they realized that there was something weird about the results. So when she took her own DNA test, the result showed that her siblings were just her half-siblings.

She went on to look for her real father who turned out to be Phil. She tried communicating through letters but when that went unanswered, she then looked for him personally. She went to approach his son after she listened to him give a sermon and from there things just revealed itself. 

When Phil met her she said that she was the best thing that came out of his past. Phil has always been honest about what he did in the past before he became born again. He admitted to having an affair and even doing drugs.

The whole family, including Sadie, Phil's granddaughter, was very welcoming to Phyllis. Sadie's mother even posted on her Instagram account a picture with Phyllis and claimed that they now had a new sister, as reported on E Online. 

The whole family has been famous for many years when a series featuring their whole family began to show on A&E. Duck Dynasty was all about the whole Robertson family and their business, Duck Commander. The men are not just known for their distinctively long beards, but also for their conservative views due to their evangelical Christian beliefs. 

In fact, a few years ago, Phil was suspended from the show for a while due to an interview that he gave to GQ magazine, where he said that homosexual behavior was sinful. The network suspended him but the released a statement saying that they would not like to continue the series if he was not involved. 

After a few weeks, A&E rescinded his suspension. The show has gone on to continue for a few more seasons, finally ending the series last 2016, after 11 seasons.
