Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Critique Tom Sandoval's Denial of Affair with Raquel Leviss
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright shared their reactions to Tom Sandoval's denial of having an affair with Raquel Leviss, as shown in a preview of Wednesday night's "Vanderpump Rules" episode on Peacock's "Watch This" feature. The former "VPR" couple scrutinized Sandoval's demeanor during his confession, describing his grin as "devilish."
Sandoval denied any involvement with Leviss in the confessional, stating, "No. Nothing has happened between Raquel and I, like, nothing. Like, it wouldn't happen between, you know ... like me and Katie [Maloney]." Watching the episode, Cartwright, 34, and Taylor, 43, both noted Sandoval's inability to keep a straight face while denying the affair.
Cartwright observed, "He is smiling. He cannot help but smile. Like, little devilish grin is what that was," to which her husband agreed, "God, he's good."
Sandoval's nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix ended in early March after Madix reportedly discovered a sexually explicit video of Leviss on Sandoval's phone, as well as evidence of months of inappropriate communication between the two.
Taylor and Cartwright have been commenting on Sandoval's cheating scandal, dubbed "Scandoval" by fans, over the past few weeks. Last week, Taylor suggested Leviss should "consider acting" given her ability to maintain the secrecy of her relationship with Sandoval.
In a Peacock's "Watch With" special, Taylor remarked, "This whole time she's just putting on a show to make it look like there's nothing going on between her and [Sandoval]. Going on a date with Oliver [Saunders], kissing [Tom] Schwartz, this is all a facade. This is all for show. She should really consider acting."
Cartwright admitted that she never suspected Leviss would be involved in Sandoval and Madix's relationship, stating, "I thought she was a nice, sweet girl."
Despite the controversy, Sandoval and Leviss have not officially defined their relationship, though reports suggest they want to be together. Sandoval recently defended Leviss against claims that she was at a spa rather than a mental health facility, as she had claimed. He criticized "VPR" alums Peter Madrigal and Dayna Kathan for casting doubt on Leviss' location, asserting they had "absolutely no idea what's going on."
"Vanderpump Rules" airs on Bravo at 9 p.m. EDT on Wednesdays, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock's "Watch This" feature on Thursdays.
