The entire world was besotted with the sizzling onscreen chemistry between Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer in the hit sitcom Friends. Many fans have been wondering whether the pair was romantically involved or not. 

The hit sitcom Friends lasted for 10 seasons and Jen and Schwimmer were seen in the roles of Rachel and Ross respectively. Even though the final season of the show ended way back in 2004, people are still obsessed with the sitcom, as well, as it cast members.

There have been various tabloids that have insisted Anniston and Schwimmer could have been more than friends in their real life. New Idea had run a story in Oct. last year claiming that an unnamed source told them the duo has the possibility of being “more than just friends” now. 

According to the anonymous insider, they both had feelings for each other all these years. The outlet claimed that speculations were rife about their alleged romance when the 51-year-old actress mentioned that the cast of the sitcom reunited. 

Additionally, Jen had shared a cozy group photo on her Instagram page with David Schwimmer, as well as, her other co-stars Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry. When the show was at the peak of its popularity, Jennifer Aniston had revealed her fellow cast on the show were “closer” to her than her “own family.”

The same insider purported that the connection between Jen and Schwimmer was pretty evident at the reunion. The tipster further insisted that there was still a “spark” and strong chemistry between the pair.

Speculations were rife about the possibility of a deeper connection between the two after the actor made a cheeky remark about how he and the other cast members did not adhere to the contractual clause of having no physical intimacy between them. The actor admitted that the clause was broken in 2016. 

The insider even went to the extent of claiming that the co-actors had “brief flings.”. While their first fling allegedly happened over two decades ago, they never made their relationship public. 

The tabloid further claimed that their actors’ fellow cast members were trying to be matchmakers, especially her best pal Courteney. The tipster also said both Lisa and Courteney played cupids and convinced Schwimmer to reveal his feelings for Jen. 

While it is true that the fans of Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer would love to see them unite even in real life, however, the story is incorrect. According to Gossip Cop, the actress’s representative confirmed that she and her ex-costar are not dating.
