Kate Middleton, known for her impeccable fashion sense, has subtly suggested what she might wear at the forthcoming coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on May 6.

As a fashion icon, the Duchess of Cambridge's style choices are eagerly anticipated, especially for such a historic occasion.

A Glimpse into Kate Middleton's Coronation Ensemble During a visit to Birmingham, England, with her husband Prince William, the Princess of Wales spoke with ITV host Alison Hammond about the upcoming coronation. The This Morning presenter couldn't resist inquiring about the future queen consort's wardrobe plans for the event.

"I said to her, 'I'm feeling like you're gonna wear blue,'" Hammond relayed to the Duchess of Cornwall in a clip shared by British radio network Heart. "She was like, 'There is a hint of blue.' So I was like, 'Fantastic!'

The Duchess' Fondness for Blue Kate's affinity for blue outfits has not gone unnoticed by fans over her 12 years as a senior working member of the royal family. Although the reasons behind her preference remain unknown, blue has long been associated with the monarchy, symbolizing "power, serenity, and stability," according to Page Six.

Kate even wore a blue ensemble on Easter Sunday, coordinating with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Will Kate Middleton Don a Tiara for the Coronation? Another burning question is whether Kate will wear a tiara at the coronation. While King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort, are expected to don crowns, it's uncertain if other members of the royal family will choose their own headpieces.

However, royal enthusiasts speculate that Kate will wear a tiara, even though People suggests she may break with tradition and opt for a more casual headpiece.

No details have been released about her headpiece selection, but since her marriage to Prince William in 2011, Kate has worn three different tiaras. On her wedding day, she wore Queen Elizabeth II's Cartier Halo Tiara. The Lover's Knot Tiara, also known as the Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara, is her most frequently worn headpiece. The third tiara she often dons is the Lotus Flower Tiara.

Fans will have to wait until King Charles' coronation to see if Kate wears a tiara and which one she chooses.
