Despite Prince Harry's attendance at their father King Charles III's coronation, Prince William reportedly feels betrayed by his younger brother over the release of Harry's memoir, Spare, and has no intention of speaking to him.

In the memoir, Prince Harry alleges that Prince William "knocked him to the floor" in a 2019 fight over Meghan Markle, Harry's wife. No member of the royal family has addressed the issue, but Prince William is said to be "furious" with his brother.

A source close to the Sussexes informed Entertainment Tonight that the Duke of Cornwall remains deeply upset by the Duke of Sussex's book, viewing it as a "betrayal."

"William feels it was a betrayal, and he has no interest in communicating with Harry before the Coronation about their disagreements," the insider stated. "The relationship is still fractured, and it is unclear when they will be able to mend fences."

The Telegraph reported that Prince Harry had already engaged in peace talks with King Charles before confirming his attendance at the coronation. However, no such conversation has taken place with Prince William.

An informant revealed that "positive conversations" between father and son occurred before Harry officially announced his coronation plans. While this can be considered a step toward the reconciliation Harry seeks, no progress has been made with Prince William.

People magazine notes that the rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family persists. His failure to meet with his father and brother during a surprise visit to London last month is evidence of the ongoing tension.

"Things are strained," a palace source told the publication.

Communication between Prince Harry and Prince William remains non-existent, even as King Charles' coronation approaches. An insider suggests that Harry's attendance at the historic event will "do little to ease tensions."

"I don't think the coronation and a big conversation can be conflated," the tipster clarified.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed Prince Harry's attendance at King Charles' crowning, though it will be a brief visit, and he will not participate in any other royal events over the bank holiday weekend.

Meghan, on the other hand, will not attend the crowning, opting to stay in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Harry's decision to attend the coronation despite his rift with the royal family was not taken lightly, according to a source: "It is about showing up, showing support, and being there for his father," the insider elaborated. "It was a very personal decision, not a PR one."
