At the recent Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, Bad Bunny addressed rumors that he had thrown shade at Harry Styles during his first main stage show. Speculation arose due to a tweet displayed during the event, which seemed to target the singer negatively. However, Bad Bunny clarified on social media that it was not his intention to make any negative remarks about Styles.

During his second weekend performance at Coachella, a new tweet was displayed behind the rapper, stating, "Sorry Harry. It was a mistake from my team. We love you. <3." This was a stark contrast to the earlier tweet that read, "goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon," which compared Bad Bunny and Styles' respective songs.

Bad Bunny made it clear that he had not approved the original tweet, which seemed to imply a conflict with the award-winning British singer-actor. The company responsible for creating the rapper's Coachella backdrop artwork, Sturdy.co, later admitted fault for the error. In a statement on Instagram, they explained that their objective was to create lighthearted designs that reflect Bad Bunny's personality and enhance his performance.

Sturdy.co's statement read, "Our intention is to create light-hearted designs that embody Bad Bunny's personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer." They added, "These visuals are a celebration of Bad Bunny and his dedication to empowering his native island, Puerto Rico."

The timing of the incident was awkward, given that Bad Bunny is currently in a relationship with Kendall Jenner, 27. Jenner and Harry Styles had a sporadic relationship from 2013 to 2016. Interestingly, this isn't the first time Bad Bunny has appeared to target one of Jenner's former partners.

In his song lyrics, he seemingly alludes to Devin Booker, who plays for the NBA Phoenix Suns, by saying, "I'm not bad, baby that's a gimmick / But the sun in Puerto Rico is hotter than in Phoenix / She knows it." Booker appeared to respond to the lyrics in a since-deleted post, stating, "He worried about another MAN again."

However, with Bad Bunny's clarification and apology for the tweet regarding Harry Styles, it seems that any perceived animosity was unintentional.
