House Oversight Committee Chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-Kentucky), has claimed that at least a dozen of President Biden's relatives may be implicated in receiving money from foreign entities. He discussed the matter with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News' “Sunday Morning Futures” show, suggesting that the Department of Justice should investigate the influence-peddling scheme allegedly involving Biden's entire family.

Comer stated that his oversight committee is still reviewing bank records and “suspicious activity reports” suggesting that the first family may have profited from dealings with foreign entities through limited liability companies designed to conceal identities. According to Comer, there could be even more LLCs and family members involved, as well as a broader range of countries.

The congressman implied that some Biden family members may have broken the law by acting as “foreign agents” without registering as lobbyists. Comer is currently reviewing six actions that Biden made as president or former vice president, which he claims could potentially be traced back to payments made to LLCs and then funneled down to Biden family members.

Comer also mentioned new reports that Hunter Biden's lawyers are scheduled to meet with Justice Department officials this week as part of the ongoing investigation into the president's son by the US Attorney’s Office in Delaware. He said that the situation is a "pickle" for team Biden, as there appears to be no reason why Hunter Biden shouldn't have been indicted years ago.

The congressman emphasized that the Department of Justice should not just focus on Hunter Biden but should investigate other Biden family members as well, stating that "there are more laws that appear to me that have been broken than just tax evasion. And there are a lot more Bidens involved than just the president’s son and his brother."

Comer also questioned whether the financial dealings with China might be the reason behind the president's lenient approach to the communist adversary. "It makes you wonder, Maria, whether or not he is in fact compromised because of the millions of dollars his family’s already taken in from the Chinese Communist Party."

The White House has not immediately commented on the matter. Last week, President Biden did not address a question about the allegations that his family members benefited from foreign business deals.
